HAPPY MOTHERS DAY...

Soooo its a colleagues birthday at work tomorrow and since I made one person a card I now have to make everyone a card because otherwise it is just not fair!! I quite like doing it anyway as it shows people that I am a little more creative that they think ;)

So here it is... would love to hear your feedback.

CROCKERY ADDICTION!!

So yesterday I decided to go on a charity shop hunt, it was late saturday afternoon so I didn't expect much of it BUT to my delight I came across some beautiful pieces. The only problem is that I now have such a mixed collection I think my home may make people think I am a little mad but hopefully the beauty of each piece will be appreciated.

Why stick to one theme when there are sooo many to love. Well here they are, my retro teapot which came with 7 pieces incl bowls and plates and I also bought a couple of beautiful lace plates which I think are very 'now'.

Bombay Duck

Oooh last week was so tiring, the Spring Fair was hard work but full of amazing and inspiring homewares it was like being in homeware heaven!!!

This week iv been so ill and stressed and I havnt been myself. I received some not so good news yesterday, I can't tell you what but it has given me a push to move forward and pursue my dreams. :)

Now I know what to do.

Anyway, today's beautiful eye candy is from Bombay Duck...

So tonight I decided to jump on the sewing machine and see if I could whip up some work and I did!!! My creative block somehow disappeared and I did 2 bird pieces, hope you like them...

Pink paisley

It might possibly be my favourite thing in the world. Ever since my mum bought home a beautiful pink paisley duvet set from ikea I've been addicted, so to find a phone case to match was amazing!!!! It came with 2 other colours and it cost £3... For the lot!!!

I recently trawled the Internet for far too long looking for a duvet cover and the search was frustrating and unsuccessful until 1646775 bed websites later I decided to try notonthehighstreet.com and there it was, the one i had been searching for all along!!

I hope you share my love for the colour and pattern of this set as it is definitely not for those who like to keep things simple...

Sewing doodles...

Freehand embroidery is my favourite thing to do, drawing with the sewing machine is so effective but only when the sewing machine plays nice! when the tension plays up or the machine chews up the thread etc etc there is nothing worse!!! here is just a little 'doodle' I did the other day...

Wedding fever!!

So it seems everybody got engaged over christmas except me, not that I want to get married anytime soon (honest). So I have been asked to design a wedding invite for a vintage, whimsical country themed wedding... IN FRANCE! how beautiful does it sound!?

So I discovered a new iphone app that easily lets you split images into segments and creates simple yet effective photos that are really cute, the app is simply called photo collage. For some reason I just love playing about with photography apps on the iphone. Here are a few of my makes all put together as a little cupcake collage...

CHRISTMAS TAGS...

So I bought some beautiful tape from work called MT tape it is from Japan and its called washi tape over there. It is becoming quite well known and I am SUCH A BIG FAN! getting discount at work is a bonus.

These days my full time job working for a homeware supplier takes up all my energy and creative thoughts (not that it lets me use all my creativity but still) SO I will be posting more home and interior inspired posts rather than my own designs (cry). Well being surrounded by homeware and talking about homeware all day makes u think about nothing BUT homeware. So here is my inspiration for today, I can't quite wait to decorate my own home one day...

This shop is a dreaaamm, I discovered it at work as one of our customers we supply to. It is recently opened and has not had much advertising, PLEASE spread the word as I think it deserves a lot of love for the exquisite selection of products on show.<3

I simply just had to share these with the world, I will be owning them at some point in my life. If they are still available and I can afford to spend £80 on each cushion then WHY NOT. seems unlikely. anyway, feast your eyes on these.... aaaaahhhh....

Oh boy I miss my crafting, sucks having a full time job. :s ANYWAY I found time to make a card for one of my work colleague birthdays. He is obsessed with camper vans! Even though 2 days before it was my birthday and he didn't get me a card i MADE him one!!!! im so caring.

finally some new work!!

so as you know im busy busy busy, making life decisions and all that. managed to make a few bits when i booked some days off work. This is a little felt booklet that has been made and personalised for a girl to give to a friend of hers. im not quite finished with the inside pages yet but this is it so far, hope you like....
